Fall & Be Free partners with Liberty Church

Fall & Be Free has agreed to a partnership with Liberty Church (Dublin, GA) for the purposes of creating a process to help churches across the country enhance their spiritual formation and discipleship strategies.

Fall & Be Free launched in April 2025 to equip people for a lifetime of following Jesus. This stemmed from an observation that many confessing Christians believe in Jesus intellectually, while feeling disconnected from Him in daily life. These people have often not been taught how to truly follow Him. Fall & Be Free was established to address this issue.

“When Ashley and I began Fall & Be Free, we had a series of meetings inviting potential donors to join us in this work,” said Jonathan Goode, Co-Founder of Fall & Be Free. “The people we met saw the need for deeper spiritual formation, they believed in us and our vision, and the vast majority quickly began giving financially to our new ministry. But one question began to arise so frequently that we could not ignore it. That question was some variation of can you help local churches get better at this?

Liberty Church is a growing church in Dublin, GA – located along Interstate 16 between Macon and Savannah. It conservatively averages over 800 people on a Sunday morning and, for the last several months, has witnessed multiple baptisms and new people coming to faith in Jesus every single week. It has been exciting to witness God’s work at this church in recent months! In spite of their extraordinary growth, Liberty Church lacks a cohesive process to help these new believers and the existing mature believers alike take next steps in their faith.

“God is moving in some incredible ways at Liberty Church,” said Liberty Church’s Lead Pastor Nate Dooley. “People are getting saved and baptisms are happening all the time! But we need help equipping our people to take next steps once they get out of the water. Working with Fall & Be Free to improve our processes for people taking next steps following Jesus is a unique opportunity for our church that will hopefully benefit many other churches in years to come.”

Generally speaking, Fall & Be Free will be tasked with overseeing and developing a process for people to take next steps following Jesus as part of Liberty Church. More specifically, this includes:

  • A clear and effective process for helping people begin their faith journey with a local church

  • Better systems to “equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:12) so that they move from spectators to active participants in the work of Jesus

  • Healthier and more consistent utilization of community groups

  • A track for long term development and formation for committed Christ followers

“Throughout the course of this partnership, Fall & Be Free will intentionally document and format the process being utilized as a blueprint for future church partnerships,” said Ashley Goode, Co-Founder of Fall & Be Free. “Our hope is that disciplined documentation and real time feedback will allow us to serve more churches with greater efficiency in the years to come.”

This partnership will conclude by June 2027 or when the stated goals of this agreement have been achieved – whichever comes first.

  • Yes… but they all wanted full time staff as the solution. We are hyper focused on the mission of Fall & Be Free and working full time at a church was a non-starter for us. This offered us the best of both worlds and it further accomplishes the mission of Fall & Be Free.
